Having a hospitalist manage a patient’s care can lead to more efficient treatment, as they are specialized in inpatient care and are readily available on site. They can more quickly respond to changes in a patient’s condition and coordinate various aspects of care. If our team is not already providing your primary care, then they will work closely with a patient’s primary care provider. They communicate about the patient’s condition, treatment plans, and follow-up care needed after discharge.
